Soil Testing and Advice

Taralga Rural has the expertise to collect soil samples for testing. We send samples to an independent lab for testing and analysis.
We are also capable for analysing the results with your production objectives in mind, converting the science in to something quite practical for you.
Our agronomic advise can be anything from a simple weed identification, to a long term pasture improvement program.
Bulk Fertiliser

Organising bulk fertiliser for your paddocks is just part of what we do.
Apart from offering a competitive price, we can organise the freight and spreading if required to ensure that product is not left sitting on the ground any longer than required.
We have tarps and tyres for loan and will work with you to ensure product is delivered and tarped ready for application.
And we offer a wide selection of fertilsers and manures and can even organise a custom blend should your production require something specific.
Pasture Seed

Taralga Rural has done many local trials and has over 20 years of experience growing successful pasture in the district.
We have excellent working relationships with our seed suppliers, ensuring we are always up to date with new innovations, allowing us the offer the best mix of industry developments and tried and true reliable varieties.
We can also put you in contact with reliable sowing contractors that will ensure your pasture is sown using the best technology, ensuring the pasture as the best chance of success.
Agricultural Chemical

Weeds will grow and insects will arrive.
Taralga rural can assist you in identification of the problem (if required) and offer the correct treatment to solve the problem.
We are well stocked in all major agricultural chemicals, in small and large pack sizes.
Should you have a large area to cover, we can boom spray the area for you with our gps driven spray unit.
For difficult areas, we organise regular aerial programs.
We also stock small spray units that you can use for independently treating weeds yourself.
